About

Paihia History Tour is a one hour guided van tour of Paihia, Waitangi and Haruru Falls telling the story of how a New Zealand township of European settlers, Maori & Missionary learned to live together.

Why is it some boat crew were attacked by the Maori? Some were eaten and some welcomed? And why is it some have left legacies with monuments, streets and churches named after them? Find out from a descendant.

This tour has the best sights in the Bay of Islands with stories and artifacts even some locals haven't yet discovered. I promise a fascinating and personalised tour guaranteed to wow you and give a very clear description of how these wonderful two cultures continue to create our New Zealand.

Tours run hourly from Paihia wharf.
