An exceptional destination for anyone visiting the Bay of Islands. Palmco is New Zealands largest palm nursery and now has National Garden of Significance status for its stunning display garden.
Palmco has recently been awarded the New Zealand Gardens Trust (NZGT) Garden of National Significance for the stunning display garden at Palmco's Nursery, Kerikeri.
First planted in the early 1990's this sub tropical garden features many wonderful specimens including cycads, tropical tree ferns and arid species with rich under-planting of exotics and native species.
The gardens were designed by the Palmco landscape team who won the gold and the supreme overall award at the Ellerslie International Garden Show 2007.
Many of the features of this winning design are permanently exhibited in the display garden.
