About

We operate unique eco rafting adventures on New Zealand's largest river ~ the Clutha Mata-Au.

Our rafting trips combine a nature experience with easy whitewater ideal for first-timers and families. We navigate the upper reaches of the Clutha Mata-Au, flowing swiftly from Lake Wanaka into the semi-desert landscape of Central Otago.

Along the way, we encounter peaceful river sections, birdlife, and exciting but easy Grade 2-3 whitewater rapids that everyone can enjoy.

Every trip includes time to relax on the riverbank, where we 'boil the billy' to make Tea-Tree tea (picked fresh), pan for fine alluvial gold, or fossick for gold among the quartz terraces.
