The Tongariro National Park has 1 to 6 day hikes traversing two active volcanoes. The hikes are in an array of diverse landscapes and vegetations, from tussock like alpine meadows, to rugged lava flows you will pass desert like craters, emerald lakes and waterfalls.
The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is the best one day hike in New Zealand and is ranked as the best 10 one day hikes in the world.
It's a 19.4km is a one way hike 7 hours with views to die for from start to finish.
We also provide transport to the Nthn Circuit, Round the Mountain, Whakapapa Village and Mt Raupehu Crater Climb.
Our shuttles depart at 7.00am & 8.00am and return is 3.30pm & 4.30pm at $30 per person return.
