Pukeko Cottage Backpackers is a 1920's character cottage overlooking the Bay of Islands and Russell Township.
More like a homestay than the larger hostels you get to share most of the cottage facilities with the owner and his cat.There is a gas BBQ for guests to use. Just 5 minutes from Russell wharf and shops it offers peace and quiet yet convenience to activities.
