We manage a full time working sheep & beef cattle farm on scenic hill country between the Otago Harbour and the Pacific Ocean. We graze 2500 sheep and 150 cattle on our 850 acres (320 hectares) and our guests are given a short one hour tour of the farm and New Zealand's unique farming systems.
When suitable guests can join in, or observe, activities such as moving sheep with dogs, shearing sheep and feeding farm animals.
Shona has an extensive garden for our guests to relax in. Nearby there are bush walks, quiet beaches and seabirds and seals. The soon to be opened Orokonui Bird Sanctuary is only 5 minutes away.
