Puriri Hills makes 1000 cases a year of fine "Right Bank-style" blended red wines, all grown and vinified on the 100 acre property in Clevedon.
The cellar door offers private, seated tastings, conducted by the winemaker, in the lodge kitchen overlooking the vines and the Hauraki Gulf. Judy presents the development of Puriri Hills, describes the viticulture and wine making and how these influence the flavors and aromas in the finished wines.
Four wines to taste. along with appropriate seasonal accompaniments. $30 per person. Up to 8 guests per seating. Plan on 1 hour.
