If you like the best of pure and isolated places, walk the two-day outer Queen Charlotte track which extends the Queen Charlotte track beyond Ship Cove to the lighthouse at Cape Jackson. Because of its extreme isolation, this track provides the best of native forests, scenery and wildlife and is regarded by many as the premiere walking experience in Queen Charlotte Sound if not New Zealand.
There are also many other side trails which connect the thousands of acres of conservation area, bird sanctuaries, marine reserves and historic sites which make up and surround our 1500 acres private reserve.
