Close to Koru Pa and surrounded by native bush is Rob Wrights studio a welcome alternative to others located in town. His first Paua (Abalone) pearl creation was inspired when a local woman found a natural pearl while fishing for Paua off the coast. Since that time Rob has built up an extensive collection of natural Abalone pearls of gem quality which is now open to view to the public. He uses an assortment of jewels such as diamonds, sapphires and tanzanite to compliment the pearl's natural beauty.
