We enjoy meeting visitors & sharing our adventures on the Central Plateau. There are 9 cabins & plenty of space for campervans or tents. Great mountain views of Mt Ruapehu & Tongariro National Park.
Our budget accommodation is suitable for groups, couples, families, or backpackers and is within walking distance to the Ohakune town centre, shops, restaurants and ski hire. We are close to Turoa Skifield and a short drive to Whakapapa Skifield, in the North Island.
The Ruapehu Cabins offer visitors the choice of 9 comfortable heated cabins set on large grounds with a friendly atmosphere and spectacular views of Mt Ruapehu.
The property is ideally suited for Campervans and Campers with two acres of lawn with beautiful mountain views in a quiet location.
Your hosts Nick and Katherine have over twenty years experience skiing Mt Ruapehu and living on the Cental Plateau and have plenty of local advice and knowledge to offer.
