An exciting place for the whole family. At Science Alive, science is fun. We have several galleries of enticing interactive exhibits, a climbing wall and a human gyroscope. Challenge yourself on the South Island's highest vertical slide and try out our glow-in-the-dark mini golf. Younger members can entertain themselves in the KidzZone area. At the entrance to Science Alive you will also discover the Science Shop, filled with science toys, puzzles, and games. Science Alive is the only independent science centre in New Zealand. Open 10am-5pm every day except Christmas Day.
