Four buildings house in excess of 100,000 items from the early days of life in Taranaki. All buildings offer handicap access. Toilets on site. A charge is made for entry. Car parking on site. Museum open every Saturday and Sunday unless a clash with Christmas Day.
Many items can be touched and used, members can provide interesting background stories to many of the items. A feature of this museum is the hands on exhibits that can be used.
