Regular twice weekly return shuttle service between Rotorua, Whirinaki Forest & Lake Waikaremoana – providing access to one of NZs most beautiful wilderness playgrounds. Operates November to April.
Regular shuttle service for visitors to access the beautiful wilderness playgrounds of Whirinaki Forest Park, Te Urewera National Park & Lake Waikaremoana.
The region is home to one of the Great Walks, awesome mountain bike tracks, hiking trails, camp grounds, back country huts & spectacular hunting & fishing spots.
The shuttle runs twice weekly on Thursdays & Sundays. On demand at other times. Operates November to April.
Route: Rotorua – Murupara - Whirinaki Forest – Ruatahuna - Lake Waikaremoana.
Local drivers provide interpretation along the way.
Departs Rotorua Visitor Centre: 8.30am. Arrives Waikaremoana about 2pm.
Departs Waikaremoana: 3pm. Returns to Rotorua about 7.30pm
