The Gates Country Lodge

This historic homestead in North Canterbury is situated on the Alpine Pacific Triangle between Hanmer Springs and Kaikoura on the banks of the Mason River and is one and a half hours north of Christchurch by car.

Set in 25 acres of grounds with expansive lawns and large trees, this homestead offers modern amenities in a luxurious setting, affording total privacy. The Lodge has three guest suites, each with their own bathroom.

The owner is a senior wine judge, so local food and wines are a specialty.
