The Nunnery is located within easy strolling distance of Te Aroha township and its attractions.
Built in 1977 to house the Sisters of Mercy, The Nunnery was bought by a local couple in 2009 and converted to guest accommodation. It sits on a large section on which there is ample guest parking, some character trees, many fruit trees and some more recent plantings.
The Nunnery has a very popular fully independent motel studio unit.
The main accommodation wing of three double and two single bedrooms has been enhanced with air conditioning, wash basins, quality linen and a guest lounge/kitchenette with deck.
One single room has a trundler bed which can convert to two singles or a double. Also a toddler's bed is available.
