About

Trees For Travellers (T4T) is a not-for-profit charity based in Kaikoura, South Island, New Zealand. We offer travellers and tourists the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint created while travelling to/from and around New Zealand, by purchasing and planting native NZ trees.

Trees are planted on specially set-aside reserves within the Kaikoura region. We plant most trees on behalf of the traveller. Self-planting tours are also available, which enable memorial, celebration, gift, ... trees to be planted.

We are supported by individuals and tour companies from all over the world.

Before man arrived, New Zealand was 95% covered in trees. Today only 15% is covered - T4T is doing its best to reverse the decline.

THANKS for your help
