The Waimate Musuem is the ideal place to explore the nature and history of our region. Formally the Waimate Courthouse (1879-1979) this beautiful building sits in a fine garden setting and is home to an extensive range of exhibits of interest to young and old.
Museum Hours:
Tuesday to Friday 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm
Saturday 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm (mid December - end of March)
Sundays & Public Holidays 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Monday closed
Other times by appointment
Admission by donation. Group Bookings are welcome.
