We offer guided treks for all levels of fitness. One trek is across our farm for an hour where you can enjoy the animals, then follow the river up and into our native bush which is one of most spectacularly beautiful stretches of native forest left in New Zealand.
See beautiful stands of Rimu, Totara, Matai, Miro, Beech, and Tawa trees, to name a few! Another trek leads you 2,200 above sea level to a naturally formed small lake which is totally surrounded by native trees. Look over the edge to the valley below. Enjoy the chorus of birdsong, tuis, bellbirds, pheasants, fantails, tits, falcons, robins, kereru and rifleman. Don't forget your camera.
