Wigmore's Walk to Historic Whitianga Rock on the Coromandel Peninsula. Visit the oldest stone wharf in Australasia, see evidence of Maori fortifications dating back 600 years, follow in the footsteps of Captain James Cook who visited this site in 1769.

Your guide is Rob Wigmore whose great grandfather, also Robert Wigmore, was the first European to settle in Hahei, home of Cathedral Cove walk.


Rob's family have a long association with the area, & he shares a passionate knowledge of its history during the 1 hour guided walk.
