The Kiwibach Studio is accommodation set in small secluded McKenzie Bay in the beautiful Whangarei Heads.
Just a short 30m stroll through beautiful tropical gardens to the quiet sandy beach.
Enjoy the privacy, the birdlife and the great views – Kiwibach is the perfect location for a quiet relaxing retreat or alternatively use it as a base for exploring the many wonderful beaches and activities in the Whangarei Heads area.
Kiwibach is a 2 bedroom sunny, elevated, self-contained studio, suitable for 1 or 2 couples.
The main bedroom has a super king size bed and there is a queen size bed in the second bedroom. Linen and towels are provided.
There are great views from the studio into McKenzie Bay and across to Busby Head. We are situated 5kms from Ocean Beach, one of the most beautiful surf beaches in Northland.
If you enjoy walking we are very close to some stunning walking tracks – including the satisfying climb up Mt Manaia, around or up Mt Aubrey, the 15 min walk to Smugglers Cove – an unspoilt white sandy beach and the newly completed DOC walking track around the headland at Busby Point.
There are many facilities and activities in the Whangarei Heads area including tennis courts, golf course, general stores and an affiliated club.
At Whangarei Heads we are surrounded by great fishing and diving spots. There is parking and mooring available for a boat if you wish to bring one.
A small inflatable dinghy and some kayaks are available for your use. Talk to us about arranging fishing adventures in the many wonderful fishing spots around the Whangarei Heads area.
