Free Wifi on the Magicbus

We’ve been watching. And what did we see? We saw more and more of the people travelling with us carrying and using Smartphone’s, ipads, tablets and laptops as they travel around our magical country.

“We want to stay connected” we heard you say. “We want to use our iphones to get onto Facebook and keep in touch with all our friends and family, and we want to use them to find out more about New Zealand.

“But” they said. “New Zealand is pretty expensive when it comes to WiFi”. And yeah they’re right, New Zealand as a whole isn’t so great at dishing out the love when it comes to free and inexpensive WiFi hotspots.

So what did we do? We parked up all our buses, let some guys in spectacles and turtle neck jumpers (I kid you not) loose with some soldering irons and screwdrivers, and low an behold, all our buses rolled out again as mobile WiFi hotspots.

Taking onboard the bit about price, we’re giving away Free WiFi to everyone onboard everyday, and if you use that up, you can buy a days worth of WiFi for $6, or a 30 day bundle – on top of your Free allowance everyday - for just $50.

So, no more high prices to pay for WiFi in backpackers hostels and internet café’s. Stay in touch as you roll around our beautiful country and don’t waste a moment when you hit the sights and sounds of our magnificent country.

Be warned though - there are times when what’s outside your window will be far more enthralling than what your mate posts he had for breakfast yesterday.
