Tour Operator's Workshop

On 6th March and 22 May 2008 Tourism New Zealand held one-day workshops to assist ADS-approved tour operators develop their own in-house Procedures Manuals. Section 8.2 of the TNZ Code of Conduct requires ADS-approved tour operators to have developed and put into practice Procedures Manuals covering each of the below areas set out in Schedule 2 by 01 July 2008.

TNZ/ATTTO Tour Guide Seminar

TNZ and the Aviation, Travel and Tourism Training Organisation (ATTTO) held a joint seminar in Auckland on Tuesday, 11th December 2007. The purpose was to explain the code of conduct tour guide qualification requirements.

Information Meeting

Tourism New Zealand held a meeting on Thursday, 11 October 2007 in Auckland to present information on the new China Group Tour ADS system, the new Code of Conduct for ADS Group Tours, and the application process for Inbound Tour Operators wishing to handle ADS group tours from China.
