Qualmark
Qualmark helps deliver on the promise of 100% Pure New Zealand experiences as the world's first accreditation system to include both quality and environmental assurance.
It is supported by the New Zealand government and owned by major shareholders Tourism New Zealand and the New Zealand Automobile Association, and backed by leading industry organisations. Qualmark provides a star grading system for accommodation providors and a quality endorsement system for other tourism businesses.
Qualmark's key objectives are:
- To enable travellers to select accommodation, activity and attraction options with confidence, knowing that the businesses they've chosen have been quality assessed
- To work with operators and the New Zealand tourism industry to provide quality experiences for visitors
How does Tourism New Zealand work with Qualmark?
Tourism New Zealand works with Qualmark to help the tourism industry deliver quality holiday experiences to visitors and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Tourism New Zealand staff also work with the travel trade and consumers offshore to raise the profile of Qualmark internationally, so that our visitors know to look for the Qualmark logo when they come here.
