Catlins Wildlife Trackers
We offer two multi-day walks in the Catlins. The "Catlins Traverse" is a 30 km guided walk through the inland beech forest and farmland to the coast at Papatowai. The walk includes two night's top class accommodation and all food requirements; light packs only need be carried.

The "Top Track" is an overnight self-guided 26 km walk over private farmland, through forests and along the coast, starting and ending at Papatowai. Walkers carry their own food and sleeping bag. The overnight accommodation has a gas cooker, cooking and eating utensils and bunks for six walkers. An informative booklet is supplied for this tramping route.
