The Old St Mary's Convent
Old St. Mary's Convent offers boutique bed and breakfast accommodation. The estate is set on 60 acres of vineyards and parkland in the heart of Marlborough's wine region.

Designed by Thomas Turnbull in 1890 for the Sisters of Mercy, restoration was in 1995 under the direction of Sir Michael Fowler.

Rimu paneling, matai floors and carved kauri staircase were retained. Five spacious guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms have been created with magnificent views over the garden and stream, surrounding hills and vineyards.

A billiards room with full size billiards table, outdoor swimming pool and a well stocked library are available for guest use. St Michael's Church is the ideal wedding or civil union venue.
