YHA Taupo is a Qualmark rated four star hostel and is located just a short walk away from New Zealand’s largest lake, Lake Taupo and Taupo town centre.

A wide range of comfortable accommodation is available from our four-bed shared rooms to our private rooms both with and without ensuite facilities. Our fully self-contained lodge is also perfect for group accommodation.

YHA Taupo offers a well equipped kitchen and dining area, which leads on to a sun filled deck with a BBQ and uninterrupted views across Lake Taupo to Mt Ruapehu and Mt Tongariro.
