YHA Arthur's Pass, Mountain House
Mountain House is a unique and delightful place to base your Arthur's Pass excursion. The national park is at your doorstep. The day trip up Avalanche Peak is one of the finest in the country, and overnight tramping opportunities include the Cass-Lagoon and Goat Pass. In winter take your choice of five local ski fields.

Located two hours from Christchurch and one hour 30 minutes from Greymouth, we are the tramping specialists offering a wide range of accommodation options and gear storage. Transport is available from the hostel to local track ends.
