Waipoua Lodge
Nestled on a ridge overlooking the 9000 hectares of Waipoua Forest, the historic lodge and apartments are set in landscaped gardens. Suites are set privately in the gardens with lounge, deep soft beds, CDs, DVD's, and balconies overlooking the gardens.

Relax in the main lodge by the fire, in the library, or choose a soothing wine from the bar. Dinner encompasses New Zealand’s best natural and garden fresh produce. We are surrounded by pristine beaches, clear lakes for swimming, forests for hiking, bird watching, and rare kiwi can be seen on guided tours. Play golf, ride quad bikes, horse ride, kayak, or four wheel drive.

The beauty of the Kauri Coast is that it is unspoiled by development and is natural New Zealand with no crowds.
