Heritage Retreat
Architecturally designed for the original owner Sir Robert Jones, the home has a timeless European character with extensive use of native timbers and river-stone. French doors open from the spacious living areas to shaded verandas and enclosed park-like gardens with outdoor furniture for relaxing. All rooms overlook the gardens and orchard, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. Fully self-contained with a well-appointed kitchen, Heritage Retreat makes self-catering easy. Daily servicing and full catering are also available as options. The world famous Tongariro River is less than 5 minutes walk away where you can stroll across a swing bridge, access bush walking tracks and cast your fly in the Major Jones Pool.
