This fully licensed Restaurant and Chalet complex has the tranquillity and splendour of Rural New Zealand as it's neighbour. At the foot of Mt Somers, Stronechrubie is home base for enjoying the majesty, the excitement or the calm of Canterbury's High Country. Very close to Mt Hutt ski field, Lake and River fishing, hot air ballooning, Mt Somers Walkway (in the top 10 of New Zealand's) and LOTR site-Mt Sunday (Edoras).
The award winning a la carte restaurant is a favourite of both local and overseas diners. Specialising in Classic NZ cuisine (cervena, lamb, salmon) in relaxed intimate dining. 8 Chalets set on 4 acres (Luxury, studio or family).
