Stay at our farmstay close to the sub-tropical Puketi Native Rainforest, near Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands. We will introduce you to the kauri, guardians of the forest, as well as other native flora and fauna. Tui, Kaka, Kiwi, Kakako and the lesser short-tailed bats inhabit the Puketi and Omahuta Forest. The nocturnal kiwi also roams free and native bird song lilts through the day, from the dawn chorus to dusk.
Suitable for most ages, the guided tours range from half day to whole day and evening unique eco-adventure experiences of this treasure-house of New Zealand nature.
