Sails Ashore offers the best of boutique accommodation for discerning guests on Stewart Island. We have just two guest rooms allowing us the privilege of spending time with our guests. Sails Ashore overlooks Halfmoon Bay and the Islands of Foveaux Straits beyond.

Room decor features extensive use of native timbers, muted colours and the best of furnishings, linen and decoration. Sails Ashore is packaged with a"Sails" guided exploration of Ulva Island, focusing on the natural history of this open sanctuary.

We also offer scenic road tours where we look at Island history and life. Sails Ashore is all about enjoying Stewart Island in relaxed comfort and at your own pace with hosts who love the Island.
