Tangowahine Farm Cottage
Taraira Cottage is a delightful retreat, centrally located and the ideal base from which to explore Northland. From the cottage it is only 20 minutes to Dargaville, 35 minutes to Baylys/Ripiro Beach or Kai Iwi Lakes. It is also only 45 minutes to Waipua and Trounson Park and 1.25 hours to the Bay of Islands.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything including laundry, BBQ and a novel bush spa - we provide the firewood. Guests are more than welcome to explore the surrounding farm and countryside with spectacular views, waterfalls, flora and fauna.

If you wish to borrow a kayak or fishing rod you are most welcome and I am happy to guide you as required.
