Anchor Lodge’s backpacker facilities offers dorm or private rooms with a full kitchen and lounge bar to relax and socialise in. Make the most of Anchor Lodge’s facilities take a dip in our outdoor heated swimming pool and spa or have a traditional Kiwi BBQ in our dedicated outdoor area.

Available to backpacker guests free of charge are access to DVD library, guest laundry, heated swimming & spa pool, mountain bikes, friendly & helpful staff

Close to the hostel are a goldmine, glowworm cave, bushwalks, Driving Creek Railway, Gold Stamper Battery, supermarket, and some funky cafes.
