Perched on a hill overlooking the harbour of historic Russell, the oldest whaling station in New Zealand, at Titore Lodge is surrounded by forested reserve land. Pathways take guests down to a private sandy beach cove and the village with its restaurants, cafés, galleries, shops and museums.
At Titore Lodge features fine furnishings, original art and offers three guest suites, each opening to its private patio where breakfast can be served, or guests can breakfast in the enclosed glass dining room. Popular activities include walking, water sports, history tours, relaxing in the hammock, reading and bird watching. For the benefit of the environmentally sensitive, At Titore Lodge is chemical free. Retreats can be designed for guests.
