24 Main Road,
Ngakawau,
Westport
Charming Creek B&B is at the base of the spectacular Charming Creek walkway which follows historic private railway tracks up the wild gorges of the Ngakawau River, from Ngakawau Village to Seddonville.
The 10km easy grade day walk features sulphur springs, beautiful waterfalls, tunnels, and fascinating relics tucked into the bush. Run it in an hour, or bike it in off peak tourist months. Soak in our private sea-edge Driftwood-fired hot tub, swim, fish, kayak, horse-ride or just read in the sun.
Explore the high plateau mining villages of Denniston and Millerton, cave raft, marvel at underworld glow-worms, jet ski the Buller River or take a full day Eco-Tour of the Oparara Wetlands, Arches and Honeycomb Cave Systems.
