Kakiroa Cottage is close to Manfield Park, home of central district field days, Manawatu garden show, A&P show and equestrian events.

Kakiroa Cottage is situated conveniently in the central lower North Island, 15 minutes from Palmerston North Airport, two hours from the Hawkes Bay and two hours from Wellington. A convenient over night stop before or after catching the ferry.
