A safe, sandy beach for swimming, boating or fishing from the rocks. Dive the Rainbow Warrior. Sailing and fishing charters can be arranged.
Walk the Mahinepua coastal peninsula.

Northland offers a great variety of local products on the Food and Wine trail.
A great base to cruise and sightsee the Bay of Islands.Catch a bus to, Cape Reinga and explore Whangaroa Harbour .

A golfers delight with Kauri cliffs 10kms, Carrington, Kerikeri, Waitangi, Ahipara and Whangaroa.
