Wangapeka Backpackers Retreat and Farmstay
Backpackers and farmstay set in 40 acres of pristine rainforest and backing onto the Little Wanganui River. 1 km to the start/finish of the famous Wangapeka Track. Close to the Oparara Arches, Heaphy track and many other wonderful walks.

Ten minutes by car to beautiful beaches strewn with amazing driftwood in the shapes that only the imagination restricts what they represent. Stay and cook your own meals or dine with us as a family at moderate prices.

We are one hour north of Westport on the West coast of the South Island. If you want to escape from the rat race for a time you will certainly not be disappointed with a stay at this location. Small and personal, a friendly atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy.
