Off the beaten tourist track. Unique, secluded, tranquil location in native forest (QE II covenanted) at Kaiaho Point, in the middle of Kenepuru Sound. Access by boat or by tramp/hike (1.5 km from nearest road; 3.5 km from Queen Charlotte Track).
Great views, beach, native birds, interpretive walking tracks. Emphasis on sustainable, enviro-friendly living with solar power & water heating, composting toilets, roof-collected rain water, carbon-absorbing forest, and exotic pest control. Focus on environmental education.
