Carlconna House
Carlconna House, built in 1875, has been completely renovated to offer top quality, affordable accommodation to travellers.

Situated in the middle of Takaka Village, it nevertheless has a rural outlook. The house opens out onto a showpiece sunken garden complete with outdoor furniture.

We aim to give those extra luxuries such as fully made up comfortable beds, luxurious showers and baths, continental breakfasts and full cooking, dining and lounge facilities.

We cater for small numbers, having only three double rooms and one twin room. Our object is to provide a "home away from home" at an affordable price and to give visitors an experience of true New Zealand hospitality.
