The beauty of Waihi is that it is situated on the Pacific Coast Highway at the base of the Coromandel Peninsula, making it a natural hub for visiting the Coromandel Ranges and the Bay of Plenty. Our location boasts some of the most diverse and stunning natural scenery in the North Island – bush clad hills reach down to white sand and sparkling surf; rolling plains give way to the sheer cliffs of river gorges - all within ten minutes drive from the centre of town.
