A new waterfront lodge, the No Road Inn is on the famed Queen Charlotte Track in the Marlborough Sounds, 5 hours walk from ships cove and is the first overnight stop on the track. The lodge has been crafted with guest comfort to the fore, with ensuites to all rooms. Most rooms have baths, a must for weary travellers, and all suites have large decks, outdoor settings with sea and bush outlooks. There is no road access, and the lodge can only be reached by water taxi, floatplane or helicopter, or of course by foot. We have giant Rimu trees that have seen moas, and abundant native bird life surrounds us. The fishing is good, the diving is great, the hot tubs on, hammocks are up, so bring a book and its all here for you at the No Road Inn.
