Otahuna Lodge
Otahuna Lodge is an intimate exclusive retreat set in an 1895 New Zealand homestead surrounded by 30 acres of its own century-old botanic gardens. The 2 master suites and 5 suites retain grand architectural features from the 19th century such as 15 working fireplaces, carved inglenooks and stained glass windows. Situated at the base of the Banks Peninsula, Otahuna Lodge is only 20 minutes’ drive from the city centre of Christchurch, making it the ideal place from which to explore Canterbury. Wineries, private gardens, championship golf, world-class fishing and even the world’s rarest dolphins are all just a short drive – or helicopter ride – from the front lawn.
