Just 35 minutes drive from Gisborne city, the Lodge is equally ideal for groups up to 20 as for couples with its self contained unit. Brent and Anna (middle aged) have a wealth of knowledge about their beach and surrounding areas. Nature and cultural walks from the Lodge include native bird colonies, Cook's Cove (Captain Cook's first landing place in New Zealand) and Tolaga Bay wharf, longest in NZ. Wide range of other activities too.
