Stewart Island Lodge is New Zealand’s southernmost lodge situated just a five minute walk from the village at Halfmoon Bay. The Lodge garden is home to many native birds, including kaka (native parrots). The up-market B&B has commanding views over Halfmoon Bay and across the ocean.
The main building is centrally-heated and includes a lounge/dining area.
Guest rooms are king-sized double or twin with ocean views. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with own bath.
A continental or cooked breakfast is included and all guests are invited to a hosted pre-dinner drink with appetisers.
Stewart Island does not have scheduled passenger air services.
The nearest airport is in Invercargill (85 minutes)
