The Welcome Swallow
Welcome to Paradise! This awesome retreat-like backpackers is a real find, set in total bush surroundings near Matauri Bay.

The Welcome Swallow is an ideal base for diving, fishing, kayaking and surfing. At the end of the day relax around the camp fire and maybe cook up that nice big fish you caught! There is also a fire heated hot tub - perfect for a soak under the stars.

From the Valley you can get picked up for dive courses or join one of the dive boats exploring the Rainbow Warrior wreck.

Follow the signs from Matauri Bay turning, off State Highway 10, north of Kerikeri. The Welcome Swallow is the ideal stop on the way to Cape Reinga.
