Lake Heron Station
Lake Heron farmstay provides a first hand encounter with authentic high country life on an historic and working sheep station. Located only 2 hours drive inland from Christchurch, the landscape is rugged and mountainous, providing guests with a real sense of remoteness.

The vast scenery is in stark contrast to our warm and well-appointed farmstay cottage. The cottage is self-contained with a full kitchen, quality linen, feather duvets, open fire, laundry, bathroom and a bath under the stars. Choose either the privacy of a self-catered stay or enjoy personal high country hospitality and meals at the homestead.
