Only 50 min drive from Nelson, overlooking the Motueka River, centrally located between three of New Zealand’s National Parks. Situated within a private forest and built from local stone and timber, Stonefly Lodge offers an exceptional experience for the discerning traveller.

We offer the complete package for any fly fishing enthusiast, providing expert guiding and instruction for the novice or experienced fly fisherman. The region also offers a wide variety of spectacular tours from hiking, wine tasting, kayaking, & exploring one of New Zealand's recognised boutique arts and craft regions.

With four guest rooms, with ensuites the lodge can also be reserved exclusively for private functions – fully catered.
