Mairenui Rural Retreat provides accommodation & guiding for anglers. The Rangitikei River and it's tributaries are world-renowned for challenging flyfishing in pristine waters, with both brown & rainbow trout in the upper reaches reaching trophy size.

Mairenui works with Green Trout Guiding to provide options ranging from on-foot day trips, raft or helicopter trips, to multi-day camping trips. At the end of the day's fishing relax in the comfortable ambience of Mairenui, with excellent food, wine & enjoyable company.
